Diana Louise Harrington of Jeffersonton, VA, passed away at Duke University Hospital, Durham, NC, Saturday, March 20, 2010 at the age of 55. Born September 17, 1954, in Washington, DC, to Melvin Harrington and Betty Stacy Harrington, Diana worked as a Master Nurse Practitioner. Surviving Diana is her husband; Michael Wilkie, her son; Ian Wilkie, both of Jeffersonton, VA, her mother; Betty Stacey Harrington of Culpeper, VA, two sisters; Lucinda “Cindy” Little (Hank) of North Carolina, Jennifer Harrington of Maryland, two brothers; Lee Harrington (Barbara) of New Jersey, David Harrington (Lisa) of North Carolina, nieces and nephews; Amanda, Henry and Melissa Little, Dennis, Shannon and Megan Bartholomew and Samantha Harrington. Her extended family will also miss her dearly.
Visitation will be held at Clore-English Funeral Home, 11190 James Monroe Highway, Culpeper, Virginia 22701, on Friday, March 26, 2010, from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m.
A service in celebration of Diana’s life will be held in the Clore-English Funeral Home Chapel Saturday, March 27, 2010 at 2:00 p.m. with Rev. Tom Hayes conducting the services.
Interment will follow on the family’s property in Jeffersonton, Virginia.
